Originally from Central Illinois, Laura begins her fourth year at Baker National Golf Course. Laura has a diverse teaching and golfing background. She focuses on the fundamental and mental aspects of the game while making learning fun and enjoyable. She also enjoys working with all levels of golfers, including those who have never played before. She has been an instructor for numerous junior golf camps and women’s clinics while an Assistant and Teaching Professional at Mt. Hawley Country Club. A former Illinois High School State Champion and nationally ranked girls amateur, Laura has competed in numerous LPGA Tour events including the LPGA State Farm Rail Classic. In 2005, she placed 5th in the LPGA Midwest Section Championship and in 2003, 29th in the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional National Championship. Laura was also a standout player in college golf at The Ohio State University and Bradley University in Illinois. Laura is a Co-Head Coach for the Augsburg women’s golf team and is the Co-Site Director for LPGA-USGA Girls Golf at Glen Lake.
